When you volunteer with us, you’ll serve and impact others in ways you may never have imagined. You’ll be a smile and a face that says, “I see you, and I care about you,” to someone coming in for a shower. You’ll be ears that listen to stories, and a voice that brings positivity and love through meaningful conversation.
Who knows? You may even be like me and find that your entire perspective on homelessness changes. Whatever your role, I promise it will be worth it. You’ll give so much, and you’ll receive even more in return.

Volunteers,
Thank you for volunteering to serve the housing insecure people of Berks County. Your help will make a difference today!
Your job is to greet our guests, provide towels and shower products and clean our showers between guests. You will be helping the Refresh Berks team set up and close up the shower trailer.
Please wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. You are welcome to bring your own gloves for cleaning.
In case of cancellation, we will contact you 60 minutes before your arrival time. Please provide a cell phone number.
